Question List
Phase 1: Initial Project Consultation
Question1 : Do you have a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) or a minimum fee threshold for custom battery system projects?
Answer1 : We enforce no rigid MOQ. For custom R&D, we evaluate partnership based on project lifetime value and viability. Early-stage batch validations or specialized prototypes can be funded via independent NRE structures. Contact us with your core metrics for an immediate pre-assessment.
Question2 : How do you guarantee the confidentiality of our non-standard designs, technical files, and protocol data?
Answer2 : Confidentiality is our absolute red line. Before exchanging any detailed schematics or protocol data, a legally binding bilateral NDA must be signed. All client assets are secured on physically isolated corporate networks with strict access controls to prevent any third-party leaks.
Phase 2: Project Kick-off
Question3 : What is your fee structure and milestone payment schedule once a custom engineering project is kicked off? [Fee Structure & Payment Terms]
Answer3 : We utilize a transparent, milestone-based payment model designed to minimize your upfront risk. The overall development cost is structured across two core phases, with custom tooling and regulatory compliance certifications quoted separately:
1. First Payment Phase (Project Kick-off): This phase incurs a fixed engineering fee (USD X,XXX), covering requirement alignment, system architecture design, and feasibility assessments.(This amount can be 100% credited to offset costs in your subsequent mass production orders.)
2. Second Payment Phase (Custom Prototype R&D, Component Tooling, Fabrication & Certification): Payments for this phase are distributed strictly across three engineering milestones:
30% Advance Payment —— Invoiced upon signing the final feasibility report and official project kick-off;
30% Mid-term Payment —— Invoiced upon engineering design freeze of all custom prototype technical data;
40% Balance Clearance —— Invoiced upon full prototype assembly and testing completion, prior to dispatch.
(Note: Custom structural tooling/mold development costs and target market compliance certification fees (e.g., UL, CE, FCC) are excluded from this baseline quote. They will be evaluated and quoted separately based on your final design architecture and regulatory requirements.)
Phase 3: Custom Prototype R&D, Component Tooling Development, Sample Fabrication & Product Certification
Question4 : During prototype assembly and tuning, can your in-house BMS seamlessly integrate and handshake with mainstream controllers like Curtis or Zapi?
Answer4 : Seamlessly and flawlessly. During bench testing, we deep-match ID frame structures and heartbeat cycles required by controllers like Curtis, Zapi, and Inmotion. Microsecond-level loop testing ensures telemetry matrices (SOC, SOH, error codes) synchronize perfectly without latency or packet loss.
Question5 : For microgrids or large-scale BESS projects, how do you guarantee multi-directional communication and joint debugging among the BMS, PCS, and EMS during the prototyping stage?
Answer5 : We deliver robust integration: 1. Protocol Alignment: Our BMS executes fast handshakes with mainstream PCS inverters and pushes second-level limits to plant-wide EMS via Modbus TCP/IEC 61850; 2. Dynamic Protection: Advanced CCL/DCL algorithms trigger millisecond-level power curtailment to the PCS at critical thresholds to prevent unscheduled hard trips.
Question6 : For cold-chain logistics or extreme sub-zero operations (e.g., continuous -30°C running), how does your custom prototype overcome the severe capacity drop?
Answer6: We deploy a dual mitigation architecture: 1. Active Thermal Design: Thin-film heaters combined with structural insulation managed by BMS smart pre-heating algorithms; 2. Advanced Chemistry: Grade-A cells with high-affinity low-temperature electrolytes, fully validated to pass global safety standards (UL 9540/2580, IEC 62619, UN 38.3).
Phase 4: Mass Production Stage
Question7: What specific technical documentation and transfer files do we receive upon mass production delivery?
Answer7: We hand over a comprehensive Digital Technical Assets Package: including official OQC reports, final product specifications with pin-out definitions, BMS communication protocol manuals with CAN-bus register mapping tables, and O&M handbooks. Full MES digital traceability logs can be compiled upon request.
Phase 5: Post-Sales & Operations
Question8: For overseas end-users, how do you guarantee technical support response times and maintenance efficiency in the post-sales stage?
Answer8: We fully execute project-specific SLAs: for critical system faults, we guarantee an initial response within 2 hours, with remote log retrieval and comprehensive diagnostics within 24 hours. Furthermore, active OTA channels allow us to re-calibrate protocols and software parameters remotely, eliminating cross-ocean hardware return costs.
